Coffee is everything to me. Whether it’s waking up, going to work, or strolling around the neighborhood, there’s no better companion or accessory for any of these activities than a cup of coffee. Especially when you are about to leave or have just finished a race. That’s why there’s nothing but genius behind PUMA’s new collaboration with Dunkin’. With two new sneakers falling in a color wheel that will have you craving your favorite donut, the coffee brand’s slogan “America Runs on Dunkin” has never been more appropriate.
For this launch, two different and classic styles of PUMA sneakers are available. There’s the classic GV shoe, which has a tennis sneaker silhouette. Rather than the white you’d expect on the court, this iced coffee iteration has hot pink and orange waves running through it and laces to match. But the celebration of dynamism does not stop there. The interior is bright pink that pops and the sole orange, so every step you take really pops. There are even two cute images of iced coffee decorating the back of the heels.
The other option is the Triple Basketball sneaker. Each is made with a rubber outsole to give you maximum traction (ideal for a basketball court as well as a rainy day) and a super soft midsole for all-day comfort. They also have Dunkin’s signature pink and orange colors, but in a bolder, plunging design. And, on the heels, are two adorable donuts. PUMA and Dunkin sneakers cost between $80 and $90.
And, what better time for this new collaboration than Dunkin’s “Iced Coffee Day” on Wednesday, May 25 at 12 p.m. ET? I can’t think of one. To celebrate the day, one dollar from every iced coffee purchased at Dunkin’ across the United States will be donated to the Dunkin’s Joy in Childhood Foundation to help hospitalized children nationwide. So, it’s a pretty *sweet* deal in more ways than one.
